HAVI Join Forces With McDonald’s in the Netherlands and Neste To Create A Circular Economy
HAVI is proud to be part of a new circular economy partnership with McDonald’s in the Netherlands and Neste that is turning used cooking oil into an environmentally valuable, carbon-cutting resource.
Briefly, the initiative involves HAVI collecting the used vegetable cooking oil from McDonald’s restaurants and delivering the waste to the Neste refinery in Rotterdam. Here, the cooking oil is turned into Neste MY Renewable Diesel, which in turn powers HAVI’s fleet that makes deliveries to McDonald’s restaurants with supplies. And so the circular economy turns!
