
HAVI was honored to receive the 2022 Global Sustainability Award at McDonald’s Worldwide Convention this April for our efforts to establish goals, develop strategies and drive sustainability transformation in logistics, packaging and Happy Meal.

For the third year in a row, HAVI has been named a US Best Managed Company. Sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, the US Best Managed Company designees include U.S. private companies that have demonstrated excellence in strategic planning and execution, a commitment to their people and fostering a dynamic, resilient culture, as well as strong financials.

Stanley, a brand of PMI Worldwide, received The NPD Group Outdoor Sports Retail Performance Award, and has been named the fastest-growing equipment accessories brand in the U.S. outdoor specialty market. The awards acknowledge the fastest-growing brands in the U.S. outdoor and snow specialty retail markets based on in-store and e-commerce sales revenue, according to NPD data.

We won this award for our outstanding Supply Chain Management support, and for initiatives in driving Logistics Excellence. We’re delighted to announce that HAVI has been named a US Best Managed Company for 2021. The HAVI Singapore office has just been awarded the Eco Office (Premium) category by the Singapore Environment Council (SEC). This award recognizes the work HAVI has done in ensuring that our office implements effective environmentally-friendly practices. This includes the office management of waste by reducing the usage of paper, water, and electricity.
SEC is the only recognized member of the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) in Singapore. The GEN is a non-profit association of leading eco labelling organizations worldwide. In 2018, SEC was granted United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) accredited environmental NGO status.

The Marketing Store team has been busy this year, even amid a global pandemic, and they have the results to prove it. We are thrilled to share that T-Mobile and The Marketing Store have won 11 W3 Awards for our T-Mobile Tuesdays customer appreciation program.
They received gold for 6 categories, including Brand Strategy, Marketing Effectiveness, Integrated Campaign, Mobile Campaign, Best User Experience and Best Visual Design Function. And, we received 5 silver awards for Mobile Best Practices, Best Mobile User Interface, Marketing Features—Art Direction, Branded Content—B2C and Digital + Integrated Experiential Marketing.
Though these wins certainly speak to their recent work and success in the face of all odds, being named a Digiday Resilience Awards finalist truly emphasizes just how much their people have overcome and adapted during this unprecedented year.

HAVI Indonesia has been recognized for its commitment to correctly and consistently implementing the Halal Assurance System in their operations. HAVI won in the service category, after pioneering, implementing, and maintaining compliance to obtain Halal Assurance System certification, which the company has undertaken since 2010. HAVI has received the highest grade possible for the Halal Assurance System for the past three consecutive audits.

We are delighted to announce that The Marketing Store (TMS) Europe has been awarded their first ever sustainability certification from The Planet Mark. This is the first year of business carbon footprint reporting after they calculated the carbon footprint of TMS London, Leeds, Paris and Duisburg offices for the year ending December 2019 and have committed to reduce emissions by 5% annually.

Following a recent audit, HAVI's Freight Management business, STI Deutschland GmbH, has received Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification - the highest quality standard for transporting pharmaceuticals. Achieving GDP enables STI to grow further in the pharmaceutical sector. Passing this audit successfully and receiving the GDP certification not only confirms that STI can fulfill the highest quality standards when it comes to transporting medication. It also shows any prospective customer that HAVI understands their liability as part of the pharma supply chain and support the goals of the GDP.

HAVI has been named a 2020 US Best Managed Company, one of 27 distinguished private companies in the inaugural class of the US program. Sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, the program recognizes a select number of private companies with demonstrated excellence in four key areas: strategy, execution, culture and financials.

Our HAVI China Sourcing team was recognized by McDonald's China with the 2020 Peak Performance Award. The award, which is the equivalent of their Supplier of the Year award, was presented to the HAVI team at the recent McDonald's China Velocity Growth Plan virtual event. This is an outstanding achievement in its own right, but is even more impressive when you consider that this is the seventh award this team has received from McDonald's China in the past five years!

The Marketing Store was named one of Built In’s “2020 Best Places to Work in Chicago.” Built In rates employers algorithmically based on compensation data and benefits to determine the winning companies. The Marketing Store competed with over 500 local companies, including Huge, Motorola and McDonald’s, to be named a Best Place to Work in Chicago.

During the McDonald’s North America Supplier Summit, HAVI received the ‘U.S. Cost Champion Award’ as recognition for the efficiencies and savings delivered to the System. In addition, Wolfgang Urhahn received the ‘Leadership Award’ for product stewardship for ‘demonstrating accountability and perseverance when faced with great adversity’.

The Marketing Store was recognized as one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work Top 25 (201+ employees) for 2019. Each year, Ad Age seeks to find the best of these workplaces, the companies that are quantifiably ahead of the pack when it comes to factors like benefits, inclusion and employee development.

The Marketing Store was honored to be among the top 50 in Campaign’s Best Places to Work 2019. It celebrates the employers that have proven they know what it takes to create environments where people love to come to work. The programme is open to all publicly or privately held organizations within the ad agency, ad tech, media and marketing industries. HAVI has received another incredible recognition of our excellence as a supplier to the foodservice industry. On Monday, April 23, 2019, Bloomin’ Brands named HAVI as a Supplier of the Year during its annual supplier recognition event in Orlando, Florida. HAVI was one of six recipients of the award, selected from a pool of more than 600 Bloomin’ Brands suppliers.

The Marketing Store was honored with the first ever Global Supplier of the Year award from McDonald's at their Worldwide Convention in April 2018. We were recognized for our optimization of the Happy Meal toy production infrastructure, creating significant cost savings, while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

HAVI’s Chill Buddy® Insulated Bag won the award ‘Supply Chain Solution of the Year’ at the UK Packaging Awards 2017 for providing an insulating shipping solution for the Marks & Spencer chilled food hampers. Chill Buddy® provides an insulated barrier solution that maintains outstanding product condition, provides significant savings through dramatic reduction in products waste and maximizes efficiency and distribution management.

Congratulations to members of HAVI’s North American Packaging team, who received the 2017 Cost Champion – Highest Total Award at McDonald’s biennial U.S. Supplier Summit. The award was issued in recognition of the team’s efforts, which have resulted in great savings for McDonald's over the past two years.

HAVI is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certification for its freight management business in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, consolidating its status as one of the leading businesses in its field.

Congratulations to the HAVI China Packaging Team for being awarded the McDonald’s Sustainability award for 2016, at the McDonald’s China Supplier ‘Plan to Win’ meeting in Shanghai on January 22, 2017. The HAVI China Packaging team received this award because of the integral role they played in McDonald’s compliance with the plastic ban in China’s Jilin Province. The team identified a new supplier and provided an alternative packaging solution to 47 SKUs in a quick commercialization timeline. They were also chosen for reducing the usage of resin materials in cartons, cups, lids and cutlery in McDonald’s packaging.

HAVI was named a recipient of a Supply & Demand Chain Executive Green Supply Chain Award for 2016. The company was recognized for assisting its customers in harnessing the power of supply chain to achieve measurable sustainability goals.
