HAVI and McDonald’s Mutual Commitment to DE&I

HAVI is committed to work toward a more equitable business world by demonstrating our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. As a proud McDonald's supplier, we are happy to say that we were among the first to have signed the McDonald’s Mutual Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (MCDEI). By signing MCDEI, we join a group of more than 20 McDonald’s suppliers that have shared goals when it comes to supporting and empowering diverse-owned businesses and creating new pipelines of diverse talent.

The MPledge
The pledge outlines a shared commitment to values-led leadership, accelerating change, and working collaboratively. With this joint pledge, we will be focused on:

  • Implementing an overall DE&I strategy, including training, education, and accountability systems to track and measure progress and to help employees to be better DE&I practitioners and leaders.
  • Increasing representation of historically underrepresented talent in leadership and in staffing, and increasing the use of diverse suppliers.
  • Investing in innovation with new partnerships and programs designed to make a measurable difference.
  • Creating infrastructure accountability to track progress, share regular updates and best practices on effective programs and measurement.

Our past focus and action in DE&I has us well on our way to meeting the different aspects of this important commitment.

Collaborating to Make Progress
This commitment is rooted in collaboration and is also a great opportunity to work together with McDonald's to help accelerate meaningful dialogues and change designed to support resilient communities and workforces. We are proud to join forces and believe that by sharing and learning from each other, we can strengthen our existing programs and commitments to better serve our employees and communities.
