HAVI designs award-winning packaging for a new QSR menu item targeting on-the-go consumers.
A leading QSR chain planned to introduce a new portable, “poppable” snack for on-the-go consumers. They needed fun and functional packaging that preserves the integrity and freshness of the product, houses dipping sauce and is highly portable. And, it had to be easy to use by restaurant crew.
HAVI worked closely with the chain to understand the customer and marketing behind the product and created a unique carton with a square bottom, rounded side walls and integrated sauce holder. The innovative design allows busy customers to comfortably hold the carton or place it in a car cup holder for convenient access while on the go.
HAVI designed a creative, ergonomic package with the on-the-go consumer in mind. With unique packaging features not typically seen in the QSR category, it reflects the product’s portable, “poppable” snack image.
HAVI leveraged existing technology to create a cup-shaped carton with innovative top closure.
The new cartons are easy for crew members to use and do not impact other products or service times.
