Better Future Blueprint

As a consumer engagement and supply chain partner, HAVI has both the responsibility to act and the opportunity to inspire a better future for people, communities and the planet.

Our Six Enterprise Commitments

We are taking our Better Future Blueprint to the next level by establishing six enterprise commitments in the areas of Climate, Waste & Recycling, Community Impact and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. These bold goals will enable us to hold ourselves accountable for advancing our progress and will help us further focus and connect our efforts across the enterprise – ensuring that our activity creates real impact.

Environmental Social and Governance at HAVI

We are fully committed to our ESG goals and continuously striving to make a positive impact—doing everything we can to operate responsibly and sustainably, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Net-Zero Commitment

Our emissions reduction journey

HAVI has set an official Net Zero target approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with the ambition of reducing kg of CO₂e per tonne delivered by 53% by 2030, using 2018 as the baseline year. As part of this commitment, we have also established a dedicated target to reduce absolute emissions by 50% from our own truck fleet and the energy used in our Distribution Centers, corresponding to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, respectively.

Roadmap to Net Zero Emissions

Thanks to our sustainability strategic initiatives and our countries’ implementation roadmaps effort, by the end of 2025 we have already achieved:

  • a 29 % reduction in kg of COe per tonne delivered;
  • a 41% reduction in absolute emissions related to own trucks and energy consumption in DCs.

These positive results have been enabled by our continuous efforts in these main areas:

On the transport side:

  • continuous efforts across all markets to increase the usage of biofuels (HVO and biomethane);
  • Increase the percentage of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) in our fleet

On the Distribution Center side:

  • increasing the use of green electricity across our DC network;
  • expansion of photovoltaic systems installed at our DCs.

Our community

In March 2023, we officially launched an internal volunteering campaign called “I Volunteer.” To achieve our 2024 goal of 32,000 volunteer hours, this campaign raises awareness and unites our efforts. Since its launch, many of our teams across different countries have organized various initiatives to support communities and contribute to a better world.
