In our My HAVI Story series, we celebrate team members whose commitment and passion have left a lasting mark on our company. We’re proud to feature Mylene Sunico, Customer Service Manager in the Philippines, who celebrated an incredible milestone in 2025: 25 years with HAVI!
Family First
Mylene Sunico was born in General Santos City and grew up in Mandaluyong. Today, she lives in Cainta, Rizal with her husband of 20 years and their son, who is now in college. Outside of work, she enjoys baking cookies and bread, often bringing some to share with her colleagues. She also enjoys watching K-dramas. Weekends are for family, usually dining out and strolling through the mall together. “These weekend outings with them are my favorite way to recharge,” she says.
Finding Her Path at HAVI

Mylene joined HAVI on April 3, 2000, as an Administrative Assistant/Secretary. A few years later, she moved to the Customer Service Department to become a Coordinator. This proved to be a pivotal moment in Mylene’s career, as it was here that she discovered her passion for operations and customer engagement. Over time, Mylene’s dedication and willingness to take on new challenges opened the door for her to become Customer Service Manager.
A Career of Growth and Milestones
Over the course of her 25 years at HAVI, Mylene has grown into a confident leader. One standout moment was leading the Order Track and Trace project, which earned recognition under “Asia Leading the Way.” But for Mylene, the real highlight has always been the people. “The friendships we’ve built, the support from my managers, and the teamwork within our Customer Service team are what keep me motivated every day,”.
For Mylene, the underlying factor that has kept her at HAVI for 25 years is simple: the people and the culture. She’s seen HAVI change a lot over the years, with new tools, technology and ways of collaborating globally. But the sense of trust, respect, and support has never faded.
A Message to Future HAVI Colleagues
As HAVI continues to evolve, Mylene is excited to contribute by sharing her experience, mentoring others, and staying open to new ways of working that bring value to both the business and its customers.
When asked why she’d recommend HAVI to others, her answer is clear: “It’s not just a workplace, it’s a place where you can grow, feel valued, and belong. Most importantly, you’ll be surrounded by people who genuinely care, not just about the work, but about each other.”
